After a lockdown of long three months, life is coming on track, or we can say that we are getting adjusted to the new normal.TV industry has also resumed shooting with the new guidelines sets since last month and the first show to go on floors, as well as, on-air was Dangal TV's Pyaar Ki Lukka Chuppi which stars Aparna Dixit and Rahul Sharma as main leads. And now when it's almost a month of shooting with this new normal, we contacted Aparna to know her experience so far.
Talking about safety, the actress confessed, "We actors are more at risk than other people on the sets as we are the ones who keep removing the mask all the time while shooting scenes. Whereas the rest of the crew can shout with their masks, gloves, and shields on. So we have to be careful all time".
When asked if she is scared as many television actors have also been affected by Coronavirus, Aparna replied, "It's not about the virus reaching TV sets, for me it's about the virus reaching people. Other industries, offices and shops have also opened. And there is an increase in numbers undoubtedly but we should also see that people who are at home and not stepping out have also got infected with this virus. So it makes you feel more scared. I just hope we get rid of this soon as the government also said that we can't stay in lockdown for a longer time. Everyone is at equal risk as we are".
With the permission of beginning shoots, there also came the news of pay cuts but Aparna has no qualms about it. In fact, she feels it's a mutual decision, "Pay cuts are the mutual decision between production house, channel and the actors. Anybody can't force you for a pay cut. And I think we all understand the current situation".
The show went through some major changes after lockdown and Aparna feels that it is like working on season 2. She shared, "There is new excitement in me as I feel it's the second season of Pyaar Ki Lukka Chhupi. My look is new we have new people entering the show. And I am sure the audience who are connected to us will love to see this new story".
